I did this illustration for "Battle of the Gods", the official expansion of the EA/Lionhead god game "Black & White 2".
This image is one of a pair, that shows the clash between the forces of good and evil(represented by the heroic Greeks and the evil Aztecs).
I used a mixed technique to produce this picture, basically the architectural elements are fully 3D and were modelled on 3dsMax5, based on some of the ingame models.
For the characters I used some of the ingame models for reference , reworking them fully in 2d on Photoshop CS.
